Paul Jackson Pollock, usually called Jackson Pollock, was born on January 28, 1912, Cody, WY. He was a big figure in the abstract expressionist movement. His big painting style is drip painting, often referred to as splatter painting. I've always really liked his style ever since I was about five years old. I really like the way how his art is not like everybody else's. To me the splatters can make a whole structure and setting almost. He died on August 11, 1956, Springs, NY.
